Shrimp Melange - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh or frozen shelled shrimp
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen artichoke hearts
    5 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 2/3 c. milk
    1/4 c. dry white wine
    3/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    2 1/4 c. cooked rice
    1/8 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    paprika
    3 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Thaw shrimp, if frozen.
    Cook artichokes according to package directions; drain.
    Set aside.
    For cheese sauce, in medium saucepan combine cornstarch, 1/2 tsp. paprika, 1/2 tsp. salt, and dash pepper.
    Add milk all at once.
    Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
    Stir in wine; heat through.
    Stir Swiss cheese into sauce till melted.
    Set aside.
