Southern Chili For Four - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 1/2 c. water
2 medium green peppers, diced
4 oz. onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, diced
1 jalapeno pepper, diced
1/2 garlic clove, minced
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 c. tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cayenne
1/8 tsp. cumin
2 cloves
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

In saucepan, combine beef and water; simmer about 15 minutes or until meat loses its red color.
Separate meat from liquid and chill both.
Remove any congealed fat.
Set aside 3/4 cup of beef broth.
In saucepan, combine peppers, onion, jalapeno, celery and garlic.
Cook 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasoning and reserved 3/4 cup of beef broth.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Serve.
