Apple Crisp With Orange Juice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced pared tart apples
1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
dash of salt
1/3 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Mound apples in buttered pie plate and pour orange juice over them.
In separate bowl, combine sugar, flour, spices and salt; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes, or until apples are tender and topping is crisp.
Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
