Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. squash
    3 large onions
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook squash until tender; drain for 1/2 hour.
    Add 1 small can evaporated milk, butter and beat.
    Cook on low heat 1 hour.
    Stir often.
    Pour in casserole dish; cover top with bread crumbs and butter.
    Brown in oven.
