Macaroni And Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
    1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
    1/4 c. bell pepper, finely chopped
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 small jar pimento with juice
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook macaroni as directed on package.
    Saute onion and pepper in a minimal amount of butter.
    Heat soup; add onion, pepper and pimento.
    Continue to heat this mixture thoroughly, then add mayonnaise.
    If this mixture does not seem \"pourable\" add a small amount of milk to make so.
