Irish Fruit Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. currants
1 c. raisins
1/2 lb. sugar
1 c. strong brewed tea
1 egg
2 Tbsp. marmalade
1 tsp. allspice
1 lb. flour
Preparation

Steep currants, raisins and sugar in a cup of warm tea overnight.
Next day, stir in egg, marmalade, allspice and flour. In a greased or lined baking tin, pour in mixture and top with a few knobs of butter and a sprinkle of sugar.
Bake for 1 3/4 hours at 350\u00b0.
