Rice And Chickpeas(Garbanzos) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. boiling water
    2 c. rice, soaked in water for 1 hour and drained
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. cooked chickpeas, drained
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
Preparation
    To boiling water, add all ingredients except parsley.
    Cook over medium heat, uncovered.
    When rice has absorbed most of the water, turn heat to low.
    Cover and continue cooking until all the water is absorbed.
    Garnish with parsley and serve with yogurt and cucumber salad.
