Zucchini Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. chopped zucchini
    4 c. chopped onions
    2 1/4 c. white vinegar
    3 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grind or grate zucchini and onion; sprinkle with salt and let stand overnight.
    Drain and rinse with cold water; drain again. Mix all other ingredients and pour over zucchini and onion.
    Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
    Pack in sterilized jars and seal.
