Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    2 c. milk, divided
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    2/3 c. raisins (optional)
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg or cinnamon to taste
Preparation
    Combine the rice, 1 1/2 cups milk, sugar and salt.
    Cook on medium heat or microwave on High until thick and creamy, stirring often (15 to 20 minutes).
    Blend 1/2 cup milk with beaten egg. Stir into rice.
    Cook 2 minutes.
    Add butter, vanilla and raisins. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.
