Peach Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can sliced peaches
    maraschino cherry halves
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan.
    Drain peaches.
    Save the syrup.
    Arrange peach slices in sugar mixture.
    If desired, also arrange cherry halves, rounded side down, in sugar mixture.
