Christmas Spice Cake(2 Layers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
1 c. blackberry jam
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
9 Tbsp. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. sorghum
3 tsp. baking powder (if plain flour is used)
1 1/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
3/4 c. buttermilk
3/4 tsp. soda

Preparation

In large pot, mix ingredients.
Cook until it will form soft ball in cold water.
It will be caramel color when done.
Ice Christmas Cake with it.
