Ingredients

4 Tbsp. soft butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 Tbsp. shortening
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add brown sugar.
Sift in powdered sugar.
Mix well.
Add peanut butter and mix.
Spread in 8 x 8-inch ungreased pan.
Melt chocolate with shortening.
Spread over peanut butter mixture.
Chill 15 minutes, then cut into squares.
Continue to chill for at least 2 hours.
