Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. dry roasted, salted peanuts
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In a 1 1/2-quart dish, combine sugar and corn syrup.
    Stir well together.
    Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts. Microwave on High for 3 1/2 minutes or until brown.
    Be careful not to burn.
    Stir in butter and vanilla; microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes.
    Very hot.
    Add baking soda and stir gently, until light and foamy.
    Work quickly, pouring onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Cool 1/2 to 1 hour.
