Ingredients

3/4 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ginger
3/4 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream the margarine and sugar.
Add egg and molasses.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to mix.
Chill dough for a few hours or overnight.
Roll into flattened 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 9 minutes.
