Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. applesauce
3/4 c. melted butter
3 tsp. soda
3 Tbsp. warm water
3 c. flour
3/4 c. raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Dissolve soda in warm water; set aside.
Combine sugar, applesauce and butter, then add flour with the spices, sifted together.
Add soda and water mixture.
Last add raisins and nuts; mix well.
Bake in slow 350\u00b0 oven.
