Onion Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oleo
    1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. shredded sharp cheese
    1 pkg. corn muffin mix (Jiffy)
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. cream-style corn
    8 oz. sour cream
Preparation
    Saute
    onion
    in
    oleo until tender (about 10 minutes). Cool slightly; add sour cream, salt and half the cheese.
    Set aside. Combine
    mix,
    egg, milk and corn.\tStir until smooth. Spread batter
    in 8 or 9-inch pan.
    Spoon onion mix evenly and gently
    on top
    of batter.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake 30 to 35 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
    Let set 5 to 10 minutes before slicing in squares.
