Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
2 c. chicken broth
4 1/2 Tbsp. flour
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 c. milk
2 tsp. instant minced onion
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook broccoli as directed and set aside.
Melt butter and stir in flour; slowly add milk to make a creamy sauce.
Gradually add chicken broth and cook until it thickens.
Add broccoli.
Slowly add grated cheese; stir until it melts.
