Mock Pecan (Oatmeal) Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
3/4 c. quick cook oats
1 c. milk
3/4 c. light corn syrup
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
chopped nuts
Preparation

Thoroughly mix all ingredients except nuts.
Put in unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle nuts over the top.
Bake 10 minutes at 425\u00b0 and then turn oven to 375\u00b0 and bake 25 minutes.
Do not overbake. This makes a very large pie.
You can double the recipe and bake three 9-inch pies.
