Scalloped Apple Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large sweet potato, peeled and thinly sliced
    1 large apple, peeled and sliced
    3 slices white bread, toasted and crumbled
    1/3 cup light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    squeeze margarine
    2 tbsp. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In a greased baking dish, layer half the sweet potatoes, apple slices and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Repeat layers. Pour syrup over top, sprinkle with salt. Squeeze margarine over the top, sprinkle with nuts. Generously sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Cover and bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
