Dago Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    1 large can whole tomatoes
    medium head cabbage
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Brown sausage in Dutch oven.
    Do not drain.
    Cut up cabbage over sausage; cut up the tomatoes over cabbage.
    Add tomato sauce. Cover and let simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
