Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 bananas, mashed
2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (may be optional)
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugars; add the eggs and beat until light and fluffy.
Add mashed bananas.
Combine flour and remaining ingredients and fold into creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Turn into greased and lightly floured loaf pan.
I like a long 4 x 13 x 1 3/4-inch pan, but the regular 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan is okay.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes for long pan or 65 to 75 minutes for short pan.
