Rainbow Sherbet Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 liters ginger ale or Seven-Up
    1/2 gal. rainbow sherbet (raspberry orange-lime)
    1 small jar maraschino cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Break up sherbet into small chunks and allow to soften.
    Pour in ginger ale or Seven-Up.
    Add cherries and cherry juice for color if you wish.
