Hamburger Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    3 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 onion
    2 cans green beans, cut
    mashed potatoes
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown ground chuck in large skillet or Dutch oven.
    Add finely chopped onion and saute until tender.
    Drain green beans.
    Add to beef.
    Add 1/2 cup of green bean juice.
    Add 3 cans of tomato sauce and salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Pour in casserole dish.
    Boil and mash peeled potatoes with hand mixer. Add 1/4 cup milk and whip.
    Spoon potatoes over top of beef mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Serve with cottage cheese and tossed green salad.
