Raisin Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/3 c. butter
    3 eggs (beaten)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
Preparation
    In a double boiler mix\trice
    with
    2
    cups milk.
    Cook over hot water until
    tender.
    Add raisins and butter. Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt
    and
    remaining milk. Stir into hot rice mixture.
    Pour into
    a
    greased
    1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon or
    nutmeg.
    Set
    pan
    in hot water and bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 10.
