Dad'S Favorite White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. chopped nuts
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. crystalized pineapple
    1/2 lb. crystalized red cherries
    1/2 lb. crystalized green cherries
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour and vanilla.
    (Add about 3 tablespoons flour to chopped nuts and fruit, mix lightly.)
    Fold in mixture.
    Grease tube pan.
    Cut wax paper to fit bottom of pan.
    Pour in mixture.
    You may add nuts and cherries on top.
    Bake at 230\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours gradually turn temperature up to 300\u00b0.
