Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. apples
    1/2 c. water
    cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
    1 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with water, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Crumble butter, sugar and flour. Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour. Nuts may be added before crust if desired.
