Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 c. rice (not Minute)
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat milk until warm.
    Stir in rice, stirring occasionally until it boils.
    Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes until rice is done.
    Combine egg, sugar and vanilla.
    Stir some of the rice mixture into egg mixture.
    Put all in saucepan and cook for 3 minutes.
