Corky Troutt'S Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole boiling chicken
    1 to 2 medium onions
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. mixed brown and wild rice
    2 to 3 ribs celery
    1 small can mushrooms
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
Preparation
    Note:
    You can use one canned whole chicken or three 5 ounce cans chicken meat and 1 can chicken broth.
    Also you can use 1 small package (3 x 6-inch) Uncle Ben's wild rice.
