Broccoli Carrot Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. broccoli flowerets
    1/2 c. shredded carrots
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. water
    1 can creamy potato soup
    1 soup can milk
    1 c. shredded Cheddar or Longhorn cheese
    sprinkle of salt, pepper and garlic powder
Preparation
    In 3-quart microwave casserole, combine broccoli, carrots, onion and water. Cover and microwave on High for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. In small bowl, stir soup until smooth. Stir in milk, cheese and seasonings. Mix well. Stir into veggie mixture. Cover. Microwave on High for 8 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirring twice during cooking time. Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
    Makes 4 (1 cup) servings.
