Karmel Korn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. oleo
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Cook the first 4 ingredients. Stir until boiling.
    Boil, without stirring, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
    Add the baking soda and vanilla. Stir a couple of times. Do not overstir.
    Pour over the popped corn.
    Bake 1 hour at 250\u00b0; stir every 15 minutes. Fits on 2 cookie sheets.
