Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. white sugar
    cinnamon
    6 medium-sized apples
Preparation
    Crumb flour, shortening and brown sugar with fingers.
    Press half of this mixture into pie tin bottom and sides.
    Reserve remaining crumb mixture to be put on top of apples.
    Peel apples and quarter them, layer them on crumb mixture in pie tin and making overlap each other.
    Sprinkle white sugar and generous amount of cinnamon over apples.
    Press remaining crumb mixture over apples.
    Bake in moderate oven until apples are tender, about 30 minutes.
    Serve hot with ice cream on top.
