Home Canned Tomato Juice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 pecks tomatoes, scald, peel and quarter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    7 tsp. salt
    canning jars
Preparation
    After tomatoes are quartered, cook for 5 to 10 minutes longer. Press through sieve.
    Measure 7-quarts juice.
    Add sugar, vinegar and salt to juice.
    Mix well and pour into sterilized jars.
    Seal. Process in pressure cooker for 10 minutes at 5 pounds pressure.
