Irish Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/2 to 3/4 c. raisins
Preparation
    Blend shortening and sugar until creamy.
    Add eggs, then dry ingredients with milk.
    Will be a soft batter.
    Add raisins.
    Bake 1 hour in a round 2-quart Pyrex dish or cast-iron frying pan (grease pan) in a 350\u00b0 oven.
