Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream margarine and shortening; add sugar and beat well.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix soda in buttermilk and add alternately with flour to sugar mixture.
    Stir in vanilla, coconut and pecans. Pour in 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans and bake for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
