Easy Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

1 3/4 c. sifted Swans Down cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. milk
1 tsp. milk
2 eggs
3 sq. Baker's unsweetened chocolate, melted
Preparation

Sift flour with soda, salt and sugar.
Stir butter to soften. Add flour mixture, milk and vanilla.
Mix to moisten flour.
Then beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer or 300 vigorous strokes by hand, scraping bowl occasionally.
