Hot Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large green peppers (cut into small pieces, leave some seeds)
6 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
3 Tbsp. dried crushed red pepper
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in large kettle.
Bring to full boil. Strain in cheesecloth into large bowl.
Add 1 bottle of Certo. Return
to
kettle
and
bring
to
full
boil.
Cook, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Add 3 or 4 drops green
or
red
food coloring.
Pour into small jelly glasses (jelly
tends
to sugar after opening) and pour melted paraffin on top.
