Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
    3 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening.
    Blend in sweet potatoes.
    Add enough milk to make soft dough.
    Knead lightly.
    Roll 3/4-inch thick on floured board; cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes, or until brown.
