Penna Dutch White Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. margarine
    3 eggs, separated
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    3/4 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream sugar and margarine.
    Beat well; add yolks.
    Sift dry ingredients and add milk alternately.
    Fold in beaten egg whites; add coconut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes in oven with door open.
    Grease two 8-inch round cake pans and flour.
