Fruit Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour (save 1/2 flour for fruit)
    2 scant tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 1/2 c. white raisins
    2 small eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 lb. each red and green cherries, halved
    6 c. chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. fruit juice
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Flour fruit. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine all. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 250\u00b0 about 35 minutes. Cool briefly and place on racks to cool.
