Blueberry Buckle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or oleo
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 1/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. fresh blueberries, cleaned and washed
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
    In a large bowl, cream 1/2 cup butter.
    Mix in 1/2 cup sugar. Add egg; mix well.
    Sift in 2 cups of flour, baking powder and salt, adding alternately with milk.
    Spoon into a greased shallow 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Distribute berries evenly over dough.
    Combine remaining 1/4 cup sugar and 1/3 cup flour.
    Add cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Cut remaining butter into mixture.
    Break into large crumbs and sprinkle over blueberries.
    Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 50 minutes, or until done.
