Jello Fig Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    4 c. figs, mashed
    4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash, drain, peel and mash figs.
    Mix sugar and jello.
    Pour over figs and let stand for 45 minutes.
    Stir over medium heat. Bring to a good rolling boil for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal.
