Ingredients

3 eggs, separated
1/2 c. sugar
5 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. heavy cream
vanilla wafers
Preparation

Crush vanilla wafers and put in bottom of buttered pie pan. Beat egg whites until stiff; beat in sugar.
Add yolks one at a time, beating thoroughly after each.
Stir in lemon juice.
Fold in cream after it is stiffly beaten.
Pour in pan and sprinkle vanilla wafer crumbs over top.
Freeze until firm.
Yields 6 servings.
