Cucumber Yogurt Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cucumber, pared and cubed
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. yogurt (plain)
    1/2 c. dairy sour cream
    1 small clove garlic, crushed
    2 tsp. grated onion
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. red pepper sauce
Preparation
    Place cucumber in colander; sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt. Let stand 10 minutes.
    Rinse with cold water, drain on paper towels.
    Place cucumber in blender or food processor and blend on high speed until pureed, about 2 minutes.
    Place puree in colander.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
