Fern Thomas' Sugared Nuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. honey or light Karo
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
5 c. nuts (1 lb. pkg. shelled walnuts or pecans)
Preparation
-
Cook the first 5 ingredients to a very soft ball stage.
Stir in nuts.
Turn out onto waxed paper-covered tray and separate nuts. Cool.
