Congealed Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
1/2 oz. red hots
13 oz. jar applesauce
1/4 Tbsp. lemon juice
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix jello and hot water.
Add red hots and dissolve.
Cool to lukewarm and add applesauce and lemon juice.
Pour half into mold and chill.
Beat cheese.
Add mayonnaise and nuts.
Spread over jello.
Top with remaining jello
