Jan Hagel Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly grease 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch pan.
    Mix butter, sugar and egg yolk.
    Blend flour and cinnamon and stir into butter mixture.
    Pat into pan.
    Beat water and egg white until frothy.
    Brush over dough; sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly brown.
    Cut immediately into finger-like strips (around 3 x 1-inch).
    Great served with ice cream desserts.
