Caramel Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (14 oz.) pkg. candy caramels
4 Tbsp. water
10 apples (McIntosh, Granny Smith or Delicious)
Preparation

In a heavy pan, over low heat, melt caramels with water.
Stir occasionally until smooth.
Wash and dry apples, remove stems and insert wooden sticks in stem end.
Dip apples in melted caramel; scrape excess from bottom.
Place on parchment paper or buttered waxed paper.
Chill to set.
Makes 10 old-fashioned delicious Christmas treats.
Use the crispest, juiciest apples you can find.
