Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts (optional)
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) bag caramels
    3 thin Hershey bars
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed.
    Add half the milk and 1/2 stick butter; mix together.
    Pour half the cake mix in baking dish.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    While it cools, melt caramels.
    Add rest of milk to the melted caramels.
    Pour over cake.
    Add chocolate chips, nuts and unbaked cake mix.
    Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    While cake is still hot, lay Hershey bars on and spread.
    Leave a day to let Hershey bars harden.
