Crunchy Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked chicken
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
    1/4 c. chopped pimento
    1/4 tsp. celery salt
    1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    1/2 c. French fried onion rings
    1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except onion rings and cheese.
    Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle onion rings and cheese over the top.
    You can also add 1/2 cup onions (chopped) and 1 cup tuna (rinsed and drained).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Yields 6 servings. Top with slivered almonds the last 10 minutes.
