Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla (or 1 tsp. almond, 3/4 tsp. vanilla and 3/4 tsp. orange juice)
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients and beat thoroughly.
    Add flour. Roll small portions of dough 1/8-inch or 1/4-inch thick on floured cloth or board.
    Cut with assorted cookie cutters.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes about 4 dozen.
